1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF GUNTON, SUFFOLK AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, RACE, POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND RESIDENTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS, AND 2) THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
