THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE: TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE A HIGH STANDARD OF ARCHITECTURE BUILDING AND TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING THE PRESERVATION OF BEAUTY OR AMENITY IN CITIES TOWNS VILLAGES OR THE COUNTRYSIDE AND OF THE LAND BUILDINGS AND FEATURES OF BEAUTY OR HISTORIC INTEREST THE CREATION OR IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF BEAUTY OR INTEREST IN SUCH CITIES TOWNS VILLAGES OR COUNTRYSIDE AND A SENSE OF CIVIC PRIDE AMONGST MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND ADVICE TO CIVIC SOCIETIES IN THE YORKSHIRE AND HUMBER AREA.
