TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF KELLOE, COUNTY DURHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. TO MAINTAIN, REPAIR, RESTORE AND IMPROVE THE VILLAGE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT. TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF KELLOE, COUNTY DURHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL, PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS
