TO RELIEVE THE SICKNESS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN SRI LANKA WITH CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE BY THE PROVISION OF AN EXPERT TEAM OF PAEDIATRIC CARDIAC SURGICAL, CARDIOLOGICAL, ANAESTHETIC, INTENSIVE CARE PHYSICIAN AND NURSES TO PERFORM COMPLEX OPERATIONS. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MEDICAL STAFF IN SRI LANKA BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINING, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE IN PAEDIATRIC CARDIAC CARE.
