Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF DOCTORS BY THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PURSUE POST GRADUATE EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE TREATMENT OF BREAST CANCER AT THE ROYAL MARSDEN HOSPITAL OR ELSEWHERE TO ENABLE PEOPLE WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SPECIALISE DUE TO FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES AND ALSO TO POSITIVELY ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF BREAST CANCER. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PROMISING SCIENTISTS AND NURSES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES, FELLOWSHIPS AND WHERE APPLICABLE SUPPORT FOR SALARIES AND ASSOCIATED RESEARCH PROJECT COSTS, TO ENABLE TO UNDERTAKE STUDIES IN BREAST CANCER TREATMENT AND TO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTAL THERAPY. 3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY SUPPORTING AND ASSISTING TOWARDS THE COST OF AN ANNUAL MARY CRIDLAN LECTURE AT THE ROYAL MARSDEN HOSPITAL AND INSTITUTE FOR CANCER RESEARCH, WHERE AN EMINENT AND PROMISING BREAST CANCER RESEARCHER WILL BE INVITED TO SPEAK.
