3 OBJECTS 3.1 THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE APPEAL FUND UPON TRUST TO APPLY THE INCOME, AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE CAPITAL, AT SUCH TIME OR TIMES AND IN SUCH MANNER FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) TO FUNDING FACILITIES FOR PATIENT CARE, THE PURCHASE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OF ANY NATURE FOR HOSPITALS AND MEDICAL RESEARCH GENERALLY 3.2 SUBJECT TO SUB-CLAUSE 3.1, THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME FOR OR TOWARDS SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AND SHALL MAKE DONATIONS TO SUCH CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS, AT SUCH TIMES AND IN SUCH MANNER, AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT.
