THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND THE INCOME THEREOF UPON TRUST DURING THE INITIAL TRUST PERIOD TO APPLY THE CAPITAL AND INCOME: 1) FOR THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AS A RESULT OF THE DISASTER OR BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES; 2) FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OR ANY OTHER PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY OF CHILDREN INCLUDING THOSE WHO WERE INJURED IN OR AFFECTED BY THE DISASTER.
