Charitable objects

THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND UPON TRUST TO APPLY THE INCOME AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE CAPITAL AT SUCH TIME OR TIMES AND IN SUCH MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE DOMICILED WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND. I DIRECT THAT MY TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE SAID INCOME AFTER PAYMENT OF ALL CHARGES AND EXPENSES PROPERLY PAYABLE IN EACH CALENDAR YEAR AND THAT AS FAR AS PRACTICABLE THE TRUST FUND IS APPLIED IN THE MANNER SET OUT IN THIS CLAUSE ON OR BEFORE THE YEAR 2020.
