A member society of The Arts Society providing lectures on fine art and visits to appropriate houses and museums. Provides guides for tours of Moor Park Mansion. Carried out detailed recordings of local churches until 2025. Also encourages youth art by involvement with schools, etc and providing small grants.

THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE AESTHETIC EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, THE CULTIVATION, APPRECIATION AND STUDY OF DECORATIVE AND FINE ARTS, AND THE GIVING OF AID AND EXPERTISE FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE ARTISTIC HERITAGE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. THE SOCIETY IS OPEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION.
