1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH WITHIN THE GREATER LONDON AREA BY SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL, FROM TIME TO TIME, DETERMINE. 2. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONG MEMBERS OF INDIAN MUSLIM COMMUNITIES, WITHIN THE GREATER LONDON AREA, BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH FINANCIAL OR MATERIAL ASSISTANCE AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL, FROM TIME TO TIME, DETERMINE. 3. THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL HARMONY, WITHIN THE GREATER LONDON AREA, BY THE CONDUCT OF LECTURES, MEETINGS, SEMINARS AND SIMILAR FUNCTIONS ENCOURAGING UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MEMBERS OF DIFFERENT FAITHS AND RACES.
