THE CHARITY'S OBJECT IS THE RELIEF OF THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM CMT/HMSN/PMA BY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY): 1. THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE AND OTHER ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO THOSE AFFECTED BY CMT/HMSN/PMA; 2. THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO THE CARERS OF PERSONS AFFECTED BY CMT/HMSN/PMA; 3. THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF CMT/HMSN/PMA AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; 4. RAISING THE AWARENESS OF THE PUBLIC AND OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONS ON ANY MATTER RELATED TO THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS.
