Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND GREATER PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR SO THAT EFFECTIVE LIAISON BETWEEN THE POLICE, OTHER STATUTORY BODIES AND THE PUBLIC CAN BE ACHIEVED IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE POLICE, PROBLEM SOLVING AND CRIME PREVENTION WITHIN COMMUNITIES IN THE HARTLEPOOL AREA BY WAY OF A. PROMOTING THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON TACKLING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITHIN THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; B. ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER PERSONS OR BODY) IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTIVES; C. TO REDUCE CRIME AND THE FEAR OF CRIME, BY STRENGTHENING THE COMMUNITY BOTH SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY; D. PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED; THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION.
