DECLARATION OF TRUST DATED 29 JULY 2005 AS AMENDED BY SUPPLEMENTARY DEED DATED 18 MAY 2006.
Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEES MUST APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERING THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") (3.A) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT, UPKEEP, BEAUTIFICATION AND RESTORATION OF ST PETER'S CHURCH CASSINGTON ("THE CHURCH") WHERE SUCH WORKS HAVE BEEN DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE INCUMBENT AND PCC. THIS IS TO INCLUDE ANY MONUMENT, FITTING, FIXTURE, STAINED GLASS, ORGAN OR BELL IN THE CHURCH. (3.B) IN GIVING EFFECT TO THE TRUSTS HEREOF THE TRUSTEES SHALL WORK IN ASSOCIATION AND CO-OPERATION WITH THE INCUMBENT AND PCC AND SHALL IN ALL RESPECTS COMPLY WITH THE LAW RELATING TO FACULTIES AND ARCHDEACON'S CERTIFICATES (BUT SO THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER AT HEIR DISCRETION IN FURTHERANCE OF THE TRUSTS HEREOF (3.C) THE EXPRESSION "PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT, UPKEEP, BEAUTIFICATION AND RESTORATION" IN SUB-CLAUSE(A) HEREOF INCLUDES, WHERE APPROPRIATE, REPLACEMENT OR THE MAKING OF ADDITIONS.
