TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR THE INHABITANTS OF BOLTON AND IN PARTICULAR ELDERLY PERSONS OF ASIAN ORIGIN AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS, DISABLEMENT AND OLD AGE.
