Charitable objects
3.1 TO EDUCATE CHILDREN AND ADULTS GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE CHILDREN AND ADULTS RESIDING IN LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTIES AND TO FOSTER THEIR AWARENESS OF SAFETY ISSUES IN EVERYDAY LIFE INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) SAFETY IN THE HOUSE OF WORKPLACE, IN EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS, ON THE ROADS, OR DURING ANY LEISURE ACTIVITIES. 3.2 TO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PRIVATE, PUBLIC AND VOLUNTARY SECTORS OF THE COMMUNITY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTIES BY: A) ENCOURAGEMENT OF GREATER PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE PREVENTION AND SOLUTION OF CRIME; B) ASSISTING IN MEASURES DESIGNED TO REDUCE THE LEVEL OF CRIME; C) THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE ON CRIME PREVENTION.
