THE OBJECT OF THE FRIENDS OF ST JOHN'S CHURCHYARD, GREAT MARSDEN IS TO ASSIST IN THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, IMPROVEMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION OF ST JOHN'S CHURCHYARD, GREAT MARSDEN, LANCASHIRE IN THE DIOCESE OF BLACKBURN AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE CHURCH AND THE PARISH OF GREAT MARSDEN ST JOHN AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF THE CHURCH AND ITS PARISH. ('THE OBJECTS')
