C. OBJECTS: THE CHURCH'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE 1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION. 2. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND DISTRESS BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND INFORMATION IN SUCH MATTERS AS HEALTH, HOUSING, VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE AND SOCIAL ISSUES. 3. THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES. 4. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF HIV/AIDS SUFFERERS AND AMPUTEES IN AFRICA EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, GOODS OR SERVICES. 5. THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND FACILITIES INCLUDING ACCESS TO BASIC EDUCATION FOR THE IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN OF SIERRA LEONE.
