Charitable objects
1 TO PROVIDE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF ANFIELD AND EVERTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA OF LIVERPOOL THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR SPORT AND OTHER RECREATION OF LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS; 2 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; 3 TO INVOLVE THE PEOPLE OF ANFIELD AND EVERTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA OF LIVERPOOL IN COLLECTIVE EFFORT SO THAT THEY GAIN CONFIDENCE IN THEIR OWN ABILITIES AND THEIR ABILITY TO INFLUENCE DECISIONS THAT AFFECT THEM. 4 TO PROMOTE GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF ANFIELD AND EVERTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA OF LIVERPOOL AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF ITS RESIDENTS OF ALL AGES; AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED RESIDENTS TO PARTICIPATE FULLY IN THE LIFE OF THEIR COMMUNITY IN WAYS WHICH ADDRESS AND ALLEVIATE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE.
