A TO MEET THE NEEDS OF DISABLED PEOPLE RESIDENT IN THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE SO AS TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE BY: I PROMOTING THE FULL AND EQUAL HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS FOR DISABLED PEOPLE THROUGH REPRESENTATION, CONSULTATION AND PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF SERVICES; II REPRESENTING DISABLED PEOPLE'S VIEWS ON ACCESS, EDUCATION, TRANSPORT, EMPLOYMENT, HEALTH, BENEFITS, HOUSING AND LEISURE SERVICES. III ACTING AS A CONSULTATION BODY TO INDIVIDUALS, STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS OR OTHER CONCERNED WITH DISABLED PEOPLE. IV UTILISING OTHER CHARITABLE MEANS THAT THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. B TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF WELFARE AND DISABILITY RIGHTS.
