THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE TAMIL LANGUAGE, CULTURE, DANCE AND OTHER SUBJECTS. 2. THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF GRANTS TO PROVIDE SUCH PERSONS WITH GOODS AND SERVICES THAT THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS. 3. PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SO AS TO ASSIST THEM IN GROWING TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
