The Quangle Wangle Choir rehearse and perform in the Weymouth and Dorchester area and sometimes further afield. New members are welcomed each January without auditions. From time to time the choir collaborates with other groups such as schools, day centres, other choirs in special projects.

Charitable objects
1 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF CHORAL MUSIC BY ANY MEANS AND RELATED ARTISTIC ENDEAVOURS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING HOLDING WORKSHOPS, CONCERTS AND EVENTS IN COLLABORATION WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONS, AT HOME OR ABROAD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHOIR'S ORIGINAL AIMS. THESE AIMS ARE: I TO SHARE THE SOLACE AND BUZZ OF SINGING TOGETHER; II TO TAKE ACTIVE AND PRACTICAL MEASURES TO ENABLE AS BROAD A SPECTRUM OF PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE AS POSSIBLE (FOR EXAMPLE PROVIDING A CRECHE, USING A VARIETY OF ACCESSIBLE MUSIC WHICH CAN BE LEARNED BY ROTE, KEEPING COSTS DOWN); III TO CREATE A FRIENDLY, SUPPORTIVE, NON-COMPETITIVE ATMOSPHERE IN WHICH PEOPLE CAN FLOURISH SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND MUSICALLY; IV TO RELEASE THE LATENT POTENTIAL OF INDIVIDUALS AND ENCOURAGE THE GROUP TO AIM FOR ITS HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS; V TO SHARE OUR ENJOYMENT AND ACHIEVEMENTS WITH AUDIENCES. 2 TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL SEE FIT.
