Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Ockment Centre provides low cost meeting and hiring space for all members of the community. It provides training, meeting, counselling and office space for other organisations who in turn provide community services or benefits. The Centre also operates as a community hub signposting to other organisations, running a Work Club and other community activities.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY SHALL BE THE PROVISION OF A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY CENTRE, "THE PRIMARY OBJECT", FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF OKEHAMPTON AND SURROUNDING AREA (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE "AREA OF BENEFIT") WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS AND IN ADDITION, TO PROVIDE SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES AT THE CENTRE IN SUPPORT OF OUR PRIMARY OBJECT.
