Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: 3.1 TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE PLANTING, MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND PRESERVATION OF MERTOUN GARDENS AT ST BOSWELLS, MELROSE, ROXBURGHSHIRE ("THE GARDENS"); 3.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR IN RELATION TO THE HISTORY, DESIGN AND HORTICULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE GARDENS; AND 3.3 SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK FIT.
