Charitable objects
2. OBJECTIVES THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE: (1) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF DOWSBY WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR: (A) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND (B) OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS; (2) THE PRESERVATION OF DOWSBY VILLAGE HALL, WITH ITS EXISTING APPEARANCE AND MATERIALS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BEING A BUILDING OF HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE.
