2. THE RELIEF OF PATIENTS RECEIVING HOSPITAL TREATMENT OR ON THEIR DISCHARGE WHO ARE SICK CONVALESCENT DISABLED HANDICAPPED INFIRM OR IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR
3. THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM DISEASE AND THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF DISEASE ON TERMS THAT THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE PUBLISHED.
