Charitable objects

(A) FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF URBAN REGENERATION IN AN AREA OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION AND IN PARTICULAR IN WATERLOO AND ADJOINING AREAS ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS:- (I) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY (II) THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT (III) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND FACILITIES FOR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATIONS FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE OR THOSE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES (IV) THE PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH (V) THE PROTECTION, CONSERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE PRESERVATION OF BUILDINGS OF HISTORICAL OR ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE (VI) THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE PREVENTION OF CRIME.
