Gravesham War Memorials Trust is dedicated to preserving the memory of those from Gravesham who died in conflict. We actively research their lives and stories, identify missing or incorrect names on local war memorials, and work with the appropriate authorities to correct records. We support restoration projects and produce commemorative resources to ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, ASSIST HISTORICAL RESEARCH AND PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP IN THE BOROUGH OF GRAVESHAM BY: THE REMEMBRANCE AND COMMEMORATION OF THOSE WHO HAVE DIED IN CONFLICT; THE PRESERVATION AND MAINTENANCE OF WAR MEMORIALS; THE PUBLISHING AND MAINTENANCE OF A DATABASE OF WAR MEMORIALS AND DETAILS OF THOSE WHO ARE LISTED ON THEM; AND SUCH OTHER MEANS WHICH ARE CHARITABLE AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
