FOR THE PROMOTION OF ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR MEMBERS OF THE FRENCH SPEAKING COMMUNITIES LIVING IN ILFORD AND SURROUNDING DISTRICTS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE OF AFRICAN ORIGIN WHO ARE REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY; THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS BY PROVISION OF ADVICE, SUPPORT AND INFORMATION THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF FRENCH SPEAKERS IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE OT IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY
