Activities - how the charity spends its money
FUNDS HAVE BEEN RAISED FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE CASTLE AND ITS SURROUNDING EARTHWORKS. PURCHASE WAS COMPLETED ON 15.09.2008 AND WORK HAS BEGUN TO REPAIR THE MONUMENT SO AS TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. THIS HAS BEEN POSSIBLE LARGELY AS A CONSEQUENCE OF GRANTS FROM HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND AND ENGLISH HERITAGE, PLUS SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL. COMPLETION OF WORKS WAS SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 2011.
