TO PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF PERSONS BORN IN YEMEN, OR WHO HAVE ONE OR MORE PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS WHO WERE BORN IN THE YEMEN BY THE FOLLOWING MEANS: A THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING B THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS C THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF YEMENI CULTURE AND LANGUAGE THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS OF GREATER MANCHESTER GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY PEOPLE BORN IN THE YEMEN, OR WHO HAVE ONE OR MORE PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS WHO WERE BORN IN THE YEMEN.
