TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS OF THE CHURCHES TOGETHER IN ENGLAND, PARTICULARLY BY ASSISTING THOSE IN NEED AND THE MARGINALISED, INCLUDING THOSE SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF THE ABUSE OF ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR OTHER SUBSTANCES OR GAMBLING OR OTHER ADDICTIONS.
