Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN RELATION TO THE HISTORY OF THE WORKING CLASS MOVEMENT BY FACILITATING AND PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO AND DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION ABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF SUCH HISTORY; 2. IN PARTICULAR TO ESTABLISH AN EDUCATIONAL LIBRARY AND CENTRE WHICH WILL PROVIDE THE FACILITIES OF A SPECIALIST LIBRARY TO ALL INTERESTED IN THE WORKING CLASS MOVEMENT AND WILL RECEIVE AND CLASSIFY MATERIAL FROM ANY AVAILABLE SOURCE FOR THE USE OF STUDENTS RESEARCH WORKERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED IN MATTERS CONCERNING THE WORKING CLASS; (C) TO PROMOTE STUDIES INTO DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE WORKING CLASS MOVEMENT; (D) TO PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES MEETINGS LECTURES AND FILM SHOWS ON SUCH PROBLEMS AND HISTORY AT THE LIBRARY CENTRE AND ELSEWHERE; (E) TO MAINTAIN AN INFORMATION SERVICE IN ALL SUCH MATTERS; AND (F) TO HELP OR DEVELOP OR ORGANISE OR CO-OPERATE WITH OTHER EDUCATIONAL CENTRES OR INSTITUTIONS HAVING SIMILAR OBJECTS.
