B TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE BY ENCOURAGING AN INTEREST IN AND UNDERSTANDING OF LITERATURE AND THE WRITTEN WORD AND BY ESTABLISHING EVENTS AND CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.
