1. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF NIGERIANS, IN PARTICULAR THE IBO PEOPLE OF ENUGU STATE AND THEIR DESCENDANTS, WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE UK AND IRELAND, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING; (B) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AN DISTRESS; (C) THE PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH; AND (D) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON ALL ASPECTS OF IBO AND NIGERIAN HISTORY AND CULTURE.
