TO SUPPORT RESEARCH IN HITHERTO NEGLECTED AREAS THAT WILL BENEFIT THE PUBLIC OR FAMILIES, COMMUNITIES, ORGANISATIONS AND WIDER SOCIETIES WHERE OTHER FORMS OF FUNDING ARE NOT AVAILABLE. TO INCLUDE POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH IN SUCH AREAS OF SOCIOLOGY AND APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY AT EARLY STAGES.
