TO ADVANCE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION AT THE KHALILI RESEARCH CENTRE (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE KRC) IN THE HISTORY OF THE MATERIAL AND VISUAL CULTURE OF ISLAMIC SOCIETIES AND THEIR NON-MUSLIM MEMBERS AND NEIGHBOURS BY PROVIDING OR FACILITATING RESEARCH AND EDUCATION AT THE KRC IN THE CHOSEN SUBJECT BY LECTURES AND SEMINARS, BY PUBLISHING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH, BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES, GRANTS AND STUDENTSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AT THE KRC, AND BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF RESEARCH GRANTS AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR RESEARCH AND TEACHING BY THE KRC.
