Symphony orchestra. Gives public concerts in various venues in Hertfordshire. Encourages emerging soloists and works with a variety of conductors, choirs to present a varied and unusual repertoire. Thereby strengthens the cultural life of the county, especially towns which do not otherwise often enjoy live music of this scale and quality. Some concerts are on a smaller scale
