Charitable objects
3.1 THE ACADEMY IS ESTABLISHED TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE DISCIPLINES THAT COMPRISE BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: I TO PROMOTE AN INTER-DISCIPLINARY PROGRAM OF RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION TO PRODUCE AN INTEGRATED BODY OF KNOWLEDGE AND TO SERVE AS AN INTER-DISCIPLINARY FORUM FOR THOSE ENGAGED IN AN ACADEMIC EXAMINATION OF ALL TYPES OF ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT STUDIES. II TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION FOR BOTH MANAGERS AND STUDENTS OF ORGANISATIONS IN THE UK. III TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS RESEARCH IN RELATION TO OUTSIDE BODIES INCLUDING FUNDING AGENCIES AND OTHER LEARNED SOCIETIES. IV TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO MEMBERS WHICH INCLUDE TRAINING, NETWORKING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE LIFE COURSE.
