Bedford Creative Arts works collaboratively with artists and the people of Bedfordshire to create new high quality art with the communities around us centred around the values of engagement, inclusion and inspiration, with the aim of enhancing and transforming the quality of people's lives especially in areas where there is a history of low cultural engagement.

Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN CREATIVITY AND THE ARTS PRINCIPALLY WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF BEDFORD, BUT ALSO THROUGHOUT THE UK BY:- (A) OFFERING PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP SKILLS, CONFIDENCE AND KNOWLEDGE; (B) USING THE ARTS AS A TOOL TO IMPROVE SOCIAL WELFARE AND PEOPLE'S QUALITY OF LIFE BY RESPONDING TO THOSE NEEDS IDENTIFIED THROUGH CONTACT WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND OTHER AGENCIES; (C) ACTIVELY ENGAGING PEOPLE WHO ARE EXCLUDED FROM MAINSTREAM PROVISION OF ARTS EDUCATION FOR REASON OF DISABILITY, SOCIAL, CULTURAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCE (BY SEEKING TO MAKE ACTIVITIES PHYSICALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, SOCIALLY, CULTURALLY AND FINANCIALLY ACCESSIBLE; (D) ENABLING EVERYONE TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT FREELY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CULTURAL LIFE OF THE COMMUNITY AND TO ENJOY THE ARTS AND ITS BENEFITS; (E) PROMOTING, IMPROVING, ADVANCING AND PROVIDING ACCESS TO CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS IN CONTEMPORARY ACTS PRACTICE, THROUGH A PROGRAMME OF TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
