COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS ARE TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WHO ATTEND EMERGENCY CALLS FOR THE AMBULANCE SERVICE, WHO CAN PROVIDE LIFE-SAVING TREATMENT TO PEOPLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY WHO ARE INJURED OR ILL, PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF AN EMERGENCY AMBULANCE. URGENT HELP IS VITALLY IMPORTANT IN LIFE-THREATENING CASES EG HEART ATTACKS, CARDIAC ARREST, CHOKING, BREATHING, LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS OR SEVERE BLOOD LOSS.
