We provide a variety of therapeutic programmes based on-shore and on the water aimed at reducing stress and anxiety; developing self reliance, social integration and employability, in order to enhance and sustain long term positive sense of worth."

Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST ARE TO PROMOTE, IN SOUTH CORNWALL, THE PRESERVATION OF MENTAL HEALTH REQUIRING ADVICE OR TREATMENT AND TO ASSIST IN RELIEVING AND REHABILITATING PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL DISORDER OR CONDITIONS OF EMOTIONAL OR MENTAL DISTRESS, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE EFFECTS OF THE LONG TERM USE OF TRANQUILIZERS, ANTIDEPRESSANTS AND SIMILAR DRUGS, OR OTHERWISE. IN ADDITION, THE TRUST WILL AIM TO PROMOTE AND DELIVER COMPREHENSIVE RELEVANT TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO SERVICE USERS, VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED USING A RANGE OF METHODS, I.E. ISSUE BASED PROGRAMMES, INFORMAL WORKSHOPS, PRACTICAL TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL COURSES.
