Charitable objects
I. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF LUNEDALE, HOLWICK, MICKLETON, HUNDERTHWAITE, EGGLESTON, COTHERSTONE AND ROMALDKIRK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AND SUCH ADDITIONAL AREAS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY CONSIDER APPROPRIATE FROM TIME TO TIME (AREA OF BENEFIT) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT IF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. II. TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THE NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY. III. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. IV. SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF THE AREA AS THE PROJECT PARTNERSHIP GENERAL COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE.
