Charitable objects

3.1 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 3.2 FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE PERSONS IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY DEPLOYING HUMAN AND MATERIAL RESOURCES TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE RELIEF TO SUCH PERSONS. 3.3 TO RELIEVE AND ASSIST IN THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AMONGST PERSONS WHO HAVE, OR ARE RECOVERING FROM ABUSE, DRUG, ALCOHOL AND OTHER ADDICTIONS BY THE PROVISION OF TREATMENT, REHABILITATION PROGRAMMES, ACCOMMODATION AND BY ASSISTING WITH THEIR REHABILITATION INTO THE COMMUNITY AND MOTIVATING AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO FIND PERMANENT ACCOMMODATION AND EMPLOYMENT.
