(1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY FOR DISABLED WITHIN THE POLICE SERVICES OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY; (2) TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF DISABILITY, IN PARTICULAR WITHIN THE POLICE SERVICE.
