Charitable objects
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE INHABITANTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM, GRENADA AND THE CARIBBEAN:- 1. TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF IMPROVING HEALTH ("FACILITIES" IN THIS CLAUSE 3 MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, PLAYING KIT, EQUIPMENT AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES). 2. TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR SPORT, RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; AND 3. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF CHARITY; 4. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP THROUGH SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT AND, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF:- 4.1 GOODS AND/OR SERVICES TO SUCH INDIVIDUALS, ASSOCIATIONS, ORGANISATIONS OR OTHER CHARITABLE BODIES WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD SUCH GOODS AND/OR SERVICES THROUGH LACK OF MEANS; 4.2 FINANCIAL SUPPORT, COACHING OR TRAINING AS MAY BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF SUCH INDIVIDUALS, ASSOCIATIONS, ORGANISATIONS OR OTHER CHARITABLE BODIES IN EACH CASE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
