NOVA est 1983 provides Kensington & Chelsea residents, voluntary organisations and people in surrounding boroughs with on and off-site IT, numeracy, literacy and ESOL courses with integrated pre-employment advice, guidance, workshops, drop-ins and follow-up for the hardest to reach and unskilled gain the confidence and skills to move towards sustained work, further training and independence.

Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF EDUCATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA AND OTHER LONDON BOROUGHS ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") BY: 1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE BENEFIT AREA IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT INCLUDING: A) ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS TO DEVELOP NEW INTERESTS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES B) THE PROVISION OF TRAINING IN I) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ("IT") - INCLUDING ACCESSING INFORMATION THROUGH THE INTERNET AND IN II) LANGUAGE, NUMERACY AND BASIC SKILLS C) THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND GUIDANCE AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERING. 2 THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE BENEFIT AREA IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGH FIT INCLUDING: A) ASSISTING UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE AND TO ACCESS FURTHER EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT B) THE PROVISION OF CAREERS ADVICE AND GUIDANCE AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORK PLACEMENTS C) OTHER ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS IN FINDING EMPLOYMENT. 3) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF VOLUNTARY GROUPS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN RELATION TO IT, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
