TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, IMPROVEMENT, AND BEAUTIFICATION OF ST LEONARD'S CHURCH, SCORBOROUGH AND OF THE MONUMENTS, FITTINGS, FIXTURES, STAINED GLASS, FURNITURE, ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH AND THE CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO THE CHURCH AND TO PROMOTE INTEREST IN THE CARE AND PRESERVATION OF THE CHURCH, ITS HISTORY AND ITS WORK INCLUDING ITS CONTINUING USE FOR REGULAR WEEKLY WORSHIP.
