The Fungus Conservation Trust (formerly ABFG) looks after the interests of mycological foray groups in the United Kingdom and we support amateur mycologists in their activities. Since January 2008 the Trust has managed a national online database of fungi as part of its conservation and education responsibilities.

TO SUPPORT VOLUNTARY MEMBER GROUPS OF THE ASSOCIATION IN PURSUIT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION THROUGHOUT THE U.K. 3. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECOLOGICAL STUDIES, ESTATE MANAGERS AND OTHERS WITH RESPONSIBILITY FOR LAND MANAGEMENT IN THE IMPORTANCE OF, AND CARE FOR, FUNGI IN THE ENVIRONMENT. REASON OF LEARNING DISABILITY WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
