Activities - how the charity spends its money
We unveiled the Stairway to Heaven Memorial in Bethnal Green Gardens on 17 December 2017. It honours the 173 people that died and over 90 injured, plus the Emergency Services personnel, involved the Bethnal Green tube shelter disaster 3rd March 1943 - the worst civilian disaster of the 2nd World War. We continue to raise funds to help with maintenance and ongoing educational talks, etc.
