THE CHARITY'S OBJECT IS TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE HUMAN RIGHTS ACT 1998) AND IN PARTICULAR ARTICLE 10 RELATING TO THE FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IN THE UK BY UNDERTAKING RESEARCH AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND DISSEMINATING THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
